Ahead of the peak commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day on 1 July 2026, the Jambi Regional Police, through the Bhayangkara Presisi Job Fair, is opening thousands of job vacancies for residents in need across Jambi Province. The job opportunities offered by a number of agencies and more than a hundred private companies are diverse and cover various fields, including positions as bank employees, health workers, plantation industry workers, employees of well-known supermarkets, and hospitality staff. “Except for debt collector jobs, there are none,” said the Chief Executive of the 2026 Bhayangkara Presisi Job Fair and MSME Exhibition, Senior Commissioner Handoko, who also serves as the Head of the Jambi Regional Police’s Human Resources Bureau. The labour exchange has attracted interest not only from agencies and companies in the Jambi region but also from two overseas job training institutions that have been in communication with the organisers, specifically from Japan and South Korea. The positive initiative will take place from 22 to 24 June 2026, centred in the Lippo Plaza area in Talang Banjar, Jambi City. Handoko stated that residents of Jambi interested in seizing this golden opportunity will not be subjected to any levies, meaning it is completely free. “This activity is a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police’s concern, especially the Jambi Regional Police, for the community’s difficulties in obtaining employment at this time,” said Handoko, accompanied by Head of Public Relations Senior Commissioner Erlan Munaji. Job vacancies are available for job seekers with various educational backgrounds, ranging from primary school to undergraduate level. At the Bhayangkara Presisi Job Fair location, prospective job seekers are guided through a digital system based on barcodes. Job seekers can then communicate directly with the human resources department of each company present at every stand. “The concept we are implementing is paperless. Each stand will be equipped with a barcode that applicants can access to fill in data and communicate directly with the company’s HRD. We also provide special spaces and facilities for job seekers with disabilities,” explained Handoko. Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations Erlan Munaji stated that the Bhayangkara Presisi Job Fair, combined with an MSME Exhibition, is a reflection of the Jambi Regional Police’s commitment to remaining present within the community. “We invite the entire community, especially job seekers and MSME players, to make the best use of this opportunity. We hope this activity can provide real benefits and improve the welfare of the people in Jambi,” Erlan explained.
