BGP Group Distributes Building Materials to Orphanages across Greater Jakarta
PT Bangun Globalindo Perkasa (BGP Group) has distributed building materials to a number of orphanages in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta) region through its Ramadan 2026 corporate social responsibility programme titled “GNET Building Goodness”.
The programme is part of the company’s efforts to create social impact for the community, whilst strengthening the spirit of giving during Ramadan.
GNET is a building materials brand owned by PT Global Indonesia Asia Sejahtera (GIAS), which is one of the business units of BGP Group in the distribution sector.
The main activity took place on Friday, 13 February 2026, centred at Raksa Putra Orphanage in Bogor, with donations comprising interior building products. The assistance included wall brick material for the library and prayer room areas, as well as floor matting for the orphanage hall.
During the material installation process, BGP Group also partnered with GNETION, Indonesia’s first builder applicator community. This collaboration was conducted to ensure that the distributed materials could be utilised optimally within the orphanage environment.
In addition to Bogor, symbolic donations were also presented at five other locations across the Greater Jakarta region: Yayasan Yatim Piatu Rasulullah SAW in Central Jakarta, Asrama Yatim & Zakat in Serpong, Arriyaadhul Jannah in Tangerang City, Pondok Yatim Piatu & Dhuafa Daar El Yaqin in North Jakarta, and Panti Asuhan Yatim & Dhuafa Al-Amanah in Serpong.
General Manager of BGP Group, Randu Arifiant, stated that this activity is part of the company’s commitment to make a positive contribution to society. Through the Ramadan 2026 CSR programme series, BGP Group hopes to encourage the spirit of sharing whilst strengthening collaboration with various elements of society. The activity also forms part of the company’s effort to present sustainable social initiatives.
