BGN Warns Against Fraud, Confirms SPPG Partner Registration Only via Official Portal

Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sony Sonjaya, has confirmed that partner registration for the Nutrition Service Unit (SPPG) must be done exclusively through the official portal at mitra.bgn.go.id.

Meeting with alleged fraud victims from West Java at BGN’s Central Jakarta office on Tuesday (26 May 2026), Sony stated that BGN welcomes public feedback and urges caution against all forms of scams related to the Free Nutritious Meals Kitchen (MBG) initiative.

“During the SPPG registration process, BGN does not collaborate with any group, such as ‘collect this from you’ or partner with an organisation to aggregate submissions. Each individual must submit their details directly via the mitra.bgn.go.id portal; registrations are personal, not through foundations or groups,” Sony said.

“Come to my office. Provide details on who, when, what, where, how, and why. If there is evidence such as photos, transfer receipts, or recordings, I will review it. If this appears to be a criminal matter, I will coordinate with the National Police and provincial police,” he added.

“We wish to formally lodge our complaint, documented and witnessed by colleagues, as we are victims of a foundation impersonating connections to senior BGN officials and the Ministry of Defence. We seek clarification from Sony on whether this foundation is officially registered with BGN,” he stated.

A victim claimed to have built a kitchen in Sukasari, Bandung, but reported no subsequent action after construction.
