JAKARTA — Ahead of the resumption of operations for the Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) on 31 March 2026, the Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) has reminded all partners to implement the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) programme professionally and with integrity, without engaging in fraudulent practices in the procurement of raw materials allocated by BGN at Rp 8,000–10,000 per MBG.

Deputy Head of BGN for Public Communication and Investigation, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, emphasised that the agency will not hesitate to impose strict sanctions on partners proven to have marked up raw material prices, especially those pressuring KaSPPG, in the form of temporary suspension of operational permits without incentives, as this falls under serious violations.

“Partners who excessively mark up prices and pressure the SPPG heads, nutrition supervisors, and financial supervisors will be requested by me to the Deputy for Supervision to suspend operations without providing incentives, as it constitutes a serious violation,” she stated in Jakarta on Sunday (29/3).

She assessed that such behaviour not only harms the programme but also undermines the primary objective of providing nutritional services to the public. According to her, partners who have received incentives should work according to the rules, rather than seeking excessive profits.

“I request that no incentives be given as well because such partners will never be satisfied. Even after receiving incentives, they still engage in naughty practices of marking up raw material prices,” she said.

As an enforcement measure, BGN will impose a one-week suspension sanction on partners proven to have violated the rules. This period is intended as an opportunity for partners to make improvements and express their commitment.
