Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik Sudaryati, stated that the agency will strongly reprimand a man who was dancing in a Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG). The man’s actions went viral on social media. In the circulating narrative on social media, the man, referred to as the partner owner of the SPPG, was dancing and it was associated with the Rp6 million daily incentive received by the SPPG kitchen from the government. In one video, the man is seen dancing to music in a room with the BGN logo. Another video shows the man dancing in a kitchen without wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Nanik said she has tasked the Director of Monitoring and Supervision of BGN to meet the man and issue a strong reprimand. “We have tasked the Director of Monitoring and Supervision to meet him,” Nanik told reporters on Tuesday (24/3). “I just called Brigjen Doni Dewantoro, Director of Tauwas Region II, he has already met him and reprimanded him strongly,” she added. Nanik expressed regret over the man’s actions. She said she was disappointed that the man is a partner owner of the SPPG. “Clearly, we are very regretful and disappointed with the attitude of such a partner,” she said. Furthermore, Nanik highlighted the viral video of the man dancing inside an MBG kitchen without PPE. Nanik questioned the man’s actions. “Why must he overact like that, especially with content he created inside the kitchen without PPE. Of course, we will monitor the kitchen,” she said. Furthermore, Nanik stated that BGN has monitored the man’s SPPG and temporarily suspended it. The man’s SPPG was suspended because it did not comply with technical guidelines after being checked by BGN. “Coincidentally, after checking the kitchen, it turned out the layout was wrong and the IPAL (Wastewater Treatment Installation) was not correct, so we suspended it,” she said.
