BGN Spends Rp 113 Billion on Hiring Event Organiser Services
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has frequently hired event organiser (EO) services during its activities in 2025. The total budget allocated by the nutrition-focused agency for procuring EO services amounts to Rp 113.9 billion.
BGN Head Dadan Hindayana stated that the use of EO services is part of the agency’s strategic needs as a relatively new entity. According to him, in its first year of implementation, BGN is still building its systems and operational governance.
“BGN does not yet have fully ready internal resources to handle all large-scale activity needs independently,” Dadan said in a written statement on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
Tempo obtained data on BGN’s goods and services procurement realisations published by the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP). The document shows at least 31 EO service procurement packages carried out by BGN in the first year of the free nutritious meals (MBG) project implementation.
The majority of these EO service procurement packages were for activities at BGN’s head office. Beyond that, BGN also hired EO services for human resource capacity-building agendas within the agency.
Tempo found two companies appointed as EOs for these activities: Azka Jaya Pratama for Rp 419 million and Senawangi Citra Imaji for Rp 391.37 million.
BGN also hired EO services from a company named Maria Utara Jaya for technical guidance on risk management in the regional Nutrition Fulfilment Service Office. The EO service procurement package for this activity is worth Rp 18.472 billion.
The agency implementing the MBG project also procured EO services for the World Anti-Corruption Day Fun Run event last year. A company named Kredo Aum was appointed as the EO, with a contract value of Rp 1.339 billion.
In addition, BGN used a budget of Rp 16.59 billion to hire EO services from Falah Eka Cahya. This EO service procurement is to support Trainer Training for Risk Assessment at Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units.
For off-site meeting implementations, BGN also hired EO services. This newly formed agency under the Joko Widodo administration appointed two companies: Greenlite Kreasi Abadi for Rp 465.55 million and Gloria Abdi Cendana for Rp 242 million.
