BGN Reveals 13,576 MBG Kitchens Have Obtained SLHS Certificates
Acting Head of the Coordinating Team for the Free Nutritious Meals Programme (MBG), Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, stated that 13,576 nutrition fulfilment service units (SPPG) have obtained Hygiene and Sanitation Certificates (SLHS) valid until 15 April 2026. This figure equates to 52.37% of the total 25,925 operational SPPG. Meanwhile, calculated from the number of SPPG that have applied, the achievement reaches 81.39% of 16,681 SPPG. Nanik said this achievement represents a major leap compared to the situation when she first took office. “Alhamdulillah, when I came in at the end of September 2025, there were only 39 SLHS. Now it’s over 25,000,” said this Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency in a written statement on Thursday, 16 April 2026. Nanik stated that BGN has set targets for acceleration so that all SPPG can meet hygiene and sanitation standards in the near future. “My target is for all SPPG to register by June and all to have SLHS by August,” she said. To achieve this target, BGN continues to encourage cross-ministerial synergy to speed up the application and issuance of SLHS in the regions. “As the Acting Head of the MBG Programme Coordinating Team, I continue to urge the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs to help accelerate the SLHS process, but it must still refer to the mandatory requirements that must be met by SPPG,” she explained. On the other hand, Nanik also emphasised that she will take firm action against SPPG that have not shown administrative compliance. She will instruct the Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision to carry out suspensions or temporary halts to operations for SPPG that have not registered for SLHS. “For SPPG that have not registered for SLHS, we will instruct suspensions or temporary halts to operations,” she said.
