BGN Records 1,528 SPPG Units Temporarily Suspended as of 25 March 2025
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has revealed that 1,528 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) scattered throughout Indonesia have been temporarily suspended until Wednesday (25/3/2025).
“1,528 SPPG have experienced temporary operational suspensions until Wednesday. This data is an accumulation from January 2025 to March 2025,” stated Deputy Head of BGN for Public Communication and Investigation, Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, in her statement on Friday (27/3/2025).
Nanik claimed that the number of SPPG with temporarily closed operations shows a decrease compared to two weeks earlier.
“There has been a decrease compared to two weeks ago because they have already registered for SLHS,” she said.
In Eastern Indonesia, 779 SPPG were affected by the closures, while in Western Indonesia, there were 492 SPPG.
“The suspension measure is mainly for SPPG that have not yet registered for SLHS (Hygiene and Sanitation Certification),” she said.
After enforcement actions, Nanik continued, most of the previously closed SPPG have now fulfilled that obligation.
“After we suspend them, if the issue is because they haven’t registered for SLHS, now many have registered,” she said.
