The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sudaryono, has confirmed that the plan to relocate the office from the Kebon Sirih area, Jakarta, to the Graha Merah Putih (GMP) Telkom Building on Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, is currently being processed.

Sudaryono stated that his agency is currently coordinating with Danantara regarding the planned use of the building, which currently serves as the Telkom office.

“It is true, we are currently coordinating with Danantara, and in the near future, the National Nutrition Agency will occupy the Graha Merah Putih Building, which is currently Telkom’s office,” Sudaryono said during a hearing with Commission IX at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Thursday (3/9/2026).

According to him, if the coordination process proceeds as planned, the BGN will begin occupying Graha Merah Putih within the next one to two months.

“God willing, within one or two months, we will move our office to Graha Merah Putih,” he added.

This relocation does not mean that Telkom employees currently based in Graha Merah Putih must leave the area. Sudaryono noted that staff will be transferred to another Telkom building located immediately adjacent to the current site.

“Those occupying the Graha Merah Putih Building will move to the Telkom building next door, which is a taller building,” he explained.

Previously, the SVP of Group Sustainability & Corporate Communication at Telkom, Ahmad Reza, explained that the GMP Building is a property asset managed by a Telkom subsidiary, Telkom Landmark Tower (TLT).

Management, including the leasing business, is conducted in accordance with business aspects and good corporate governance. As there are currently several tenants occupying GMP, he ensured that any use of the building by other parties is part of TLT’s business operations.

“There is no transfer of assets,” Reza told CNBC Indonesia on Thursday (3/9/2026).

“If there are other offices, it is a business leveraging commonly undertaken by TLT, as there are still several tenants there. Certainly, all leases follow the applicable mechanisms, taking into account business aspects and good governance,” he added.
