JAKARTA — Indonesia’s National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has permanently halted operations at two nutrition fulfilment service units (SPPGs) in Central Java. They are the East Semarang Karangturi SPPG in Semarang city and the Batang-Batang Bawang SPPG in Batang regency.

BGN Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision Ketut Sumedana said the closures were based on the agency head’s decrees No. 63530 of 2026 and No. 63531 of 2026. He said the 4,965 beneficiaries served by the two units would be transferred to the nearest SPPGs that meet operational requirements.
