BGN Office Searched Regarding Alleged Trading of SPPG Allocations

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has searched the offices of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in connection with the alleged trading of Nutrition Fulfilment Service (SPPG) points, which serve as kitchens for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. According to reports, the case originated from findings of irregularities within the SPPG procurement project, with allegations suggesting the involvement of several high-ranking BGN officials.

Sources indicate that the former Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, was present at the Attorney General’s Office for questioning, alongside two other individuals. The Attorney General’s Office confirmed that the search was carried out by investigators from the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes division.

While Mohammad Jeffry, Acting Head of the Attorney General’s Office Legal Information Centre, confirmed the search took place on Wednesday, he declined to provide further details regarding the specific scope of the investigation, stating that a press conference would be held once the results are finalised.

During the operation, BGN employees were prevented from entering the office premises and were instructed to wait outside. Security personnel reported that the investigators had been on-site since approximately 02:00 WIB. As of 09:00, office services remained suspended, and media personnel were also restricted from entering the building.
