JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The owner of a Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Batujajar, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Hendrik Irawan, has gone viral on social media after dancing in the kitchen of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. Not only did he dance, but Hendrik also boasted about receiving an incentive of Rp 6 million per day from MBG. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has expressed regret over Hendrik’s actions. Now, Hendrik’s MBG kitchen has been temporarily closed or suspended by BGN. Hendrik’s SPPG was found to have an incorrect layout and non-compliant wastewater treatment installation (IPAL). BGN Head Dadan Hindayana reprimanded Hendrik Irawan. Dadan asked Hendrik to immediately apologise to the public. “We have reprimanded him, and at the same time, we asked the individual to apologise to the public,” said Dadan to Kompas.com on Wednesday (25/3/2026). Contacted separately, BGN Deputy Head Nanik S Deyang stated that Hendrik had been met by the BGN Director of Monitoring and Supervision and sternly reprimanded. Nanik said that BGN regretted Hendrik’s dancing actions at the SPPG. “He has been sternly reprimanded. Clearly, we are very regretful and disappointed with the attitude of such a partner,” said Nanik. She was puzzled as to why Hendrik had to overact to the point of dancing like that. “Why overact like that?” she said. Now, Hendrik’s SPPG has been temporarily closed or suspended by BGN. “Coincidentally, after checking the kitchen, it turned out the layout was wrong. And the IPAL (Wastewater Treatment Installation) was not correct, so we suspended it,” added Nanik.
