BGN Introduces Five New Deputies to Improve Free Nutritious Meal Programme Governance
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has introduced five new deputies to replace previous officials in a bid to improve the governance of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme.
“Yesterday afternoon we received a decision signed by President Prabowo Subianto regarding the appointment of deputies within the BGN. We are certainly very pleased because the BGN needs a strong team to jointly improve the BGN’s institutions and perfect the MBG Programme,” said BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari in Jakarta on Tuesday.
She stated that with the replacement of these officials, every rupiah managed for the MBG budget can be handled effectively, efficiently, transparently, and accountably.
The five newly appointed high-ranking officials include Lili Familia as the BGN’s Main Secretary, who previously served as the Head of the BGN’s General and Finance Bureau.
Prima Yosephine Berliana Tumiur Hutapea has been appointed as the Deputy for Systems and Governance at the BGN. She is a medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Public Health and previously served at the Ministry of Health, bringing expertise in epidemiology, immunisation, and infectious disease control.
