BGN Head: Motorcycles for SPPG Heads Not Yet Distributed

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, explained that the motorcycles budgeted from 2025 for the Heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) have not yet been officially distributed. Dadan conveyed this in response to a video circulating on social media showing several motorcycles with BGN logos, which has sparked various speculations among the public. Dadan explained that before distribution, the available vehicles must still undergo administrative processes as state-owned goods (BMN) before they can be used. The realisation of the motorcycle procurement will proceed gradually starting in December 2025. Regarding the information circulating on social media about the procurement reaching 70,000 units, Dadan emphasised that the news is untrue or a hoax. “The information about 70,000 units is not true. The total realisation of electric motorcycles is 21,801 units out of 25,000 units ordered for 2025,” said Dadan. He urged the public not to be easily influenced by unverified information and to understand that the procurement is part of the government’s efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of the MBG Programme throughout Indonesia. The content circulating on social media shows electric motorcycles with BGN logos wrapped in plastic. This has not yet been confirmed as true, so the public is advised not to immediately share information that has not been clearly verified.
