BGN Halts Operations of SPPG Kitchen in West Bandung Following Viral Video and IPAL Findings

Journalists captured the scene at the SPPG kitchen of Yayasan Pramaguna Nasional, which has been temporarily closed in Pangauban, Batujajar, West Bandung Regency, West Java, on Friday (27/3/2026). The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has temporarily halted operations at the SPPG kitchen following a viral social media video of the kitchen owner and MBG programme partner Hendrik Irawan dancing, which was assessed as violating principles of propriety, as well as findings of a wastewater treatment installation (IPAL) infrastructure built not in accordance with standards.
