BGN Confirms Circulating SPPG 2026 Training Invitation is a Hoax

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has affirmed that the invitation for the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on National SPPG Management for 2026, which is circulating widely, is a hoax.

The letter misuses the name of the institution as well as the Chief Secretary (Sestama) of BGN, complete with the agency’s seal.

BGN stated that it has conducted an internal investigation and confirmed that the letter was never issued by the agency.

“Therefore, any activities conducted in the name of that invitation are outside the responsibility of BGN,” BGN emphasised.

BGN advises the public and stakeholders not to follow up on the invitation and to remain vigilant against potential frauds that misuse government agency names.

The public is also requested to verify every document or event invitation through the official channels of the relevant institution to avoid losses due to the misuse of institutional names.

Previously, an invitation purporting to be from the National Nutrition Agency was circulated to managers of the Nutrition Services Fulfilment Units (SPPG).
