BGN Announces Five New Officials, Here is the List

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has announced five new officials. The officials range from the Primary Secretary to the Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision. They are replacements for previous officials and were introduced by BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari along with Trenggono at the BGN office in Central Jakarta, as reported by detikNews on Tuesday (21/6/2026). Agustina stated that human resources are crucial for the organisation and the free nutritious meal programme (MBG). These new BGN officials were appointed based on a Presidential Decree (Keppres) by Prabowo Subianto and were inaugurated earlier that day. “Yesterday afternoon we received the Keppres appointing these high-ranking officials,” Agustina said during a press conference. “We need a team to improve BGN and the free nutritious meal programme,” she added. The list of officials introduced is as follows: 1. Lili Khamiliyah as Primary Secretary; 2. Prima Yosephine Berliana Tumiur Hutapea as Deputy for Systems and Governance; 3. Zainuri as Deputy for Provision and Distribution; 4. Mariman Darto as Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation; 5. Ketut Sumedana as Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision. On the same occasion, Agustina mentioned that the evaluation of the MBG programme would focus on two main aspects, one of which is the validation of beneficiary data. “So the first thing we will fix: are there really 63 million? That is the first thing. If so, how many are genuine, and how many should we actually provide for? Which regions, which children should we prioritise? That is now our task,” Agustina told reporters at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (20/7). Besides data validation, the BGN is also evaluating the incentive scheme for Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG). The current incentive amount is considered too uniform, even though the service capacity of each SPPG varies. She noted that some SPPGs serve only 1,000 beneficiaries within a short range, while others serve more beneficiaries over a wider area. According to her, this condition needs to be accommodated with a proportional scheme. “So, we will create a fairer incentive scheme. For example, it is not right if an SPPG that covers 200 metres and serves only 500 or 1,000 people gets the same incentive,” she said. “It is also not right if one covering 300, 400, or even 500 metres with better performance is given the same 6 million rupiah. That is not fair. So, these are the schemes we will improve,” she concluded.
