Jakarta (ANTARA) — The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has affirmed its commitment to more impactful public communication for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, both through interactive digital channels and institution-owned media.

This was conveyed by BGN Head of Legal and Public Relations Bureau Khairul Hidayati upon receiving two awards at The 11th PR Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2026, where the agency was named winner in the Digital Channel Category, Social Media Sub-Category, as well as the Owned Media Category, Video Profile Sub-Category.

“This award serves as a reflection that the communication strategy we are implementing is on the right track. Through social media, we strive to build an active and responsive dialogue space with the public,” she said in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday.

She stated that BGN also continues to present comprehensive and structured institutional narratives so that the public can fully understand BGN’s programs. “Going forward, we will continue to strengthen the quality of communication that is transparent, data-driven, and impactful,” she said.

According to her, social media is not merely a space for publication but a space for dialogue. Therefore, BGN strives to present content that not only conveys program information but also answers the public’s questions. “Through social media, we continue to provide nutrition education that is easy to understand, as well as build trust through consistent and data-driven communication,” she said.

PRIA is a national public relations competition now in its 11th year. This year, more than 580 entries competed across 11 categories and were assessed based on strategy, creativity, implementation, and impact on the public. BGN’s success in two different categories demonstrates a comprehensive and sustainable communication approach in supporting the national nutrition development agenda.
