PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) posted a net profit of Rp 828.9 billion in the first half of 2026, representing an 8.7 percent year-on-year (yoy) increase. The company stated that this growth was supported by a financing strategy that prioritises portfolio quality and disciplined risk management. As of 30 June 2026, BFI Finance recorded total assets of Rp 25.1 trillion. Meanwhile, managed receivables increased by 3.6 percent yoy to Rp 26.5 trillion. BFI Finance President Director Sutadi said the company continues to maintain a balance between business expansion and financing quality to create healthy and sustainable growth. ‘BFI Finance focuses on a long-term business resilience strategy while remaining adaptive to various market challenges and taking anticipatory steps in managing risk,’ Sutadi said in a written statement. Throughout the first half of 2026, BFI Finance disbursed new financing amounting to Rp 10.7 trillion. The disbursement was still dominated by four-wheeled vehicle financing, both through refinancing and used car loans. Consistent application of prudential principles is also reflected in the company’s financing quality. As of the end of June 2026, the gross Non-Performing Financing (NPF) ratio stood at 1.55 percent, while the net NPF was 0.27 percent. These figures are lower than the industry average of 3.06 percent and 0.85 percent, respectively. The company also maintained an adequate provisioning ratio with a coverage ratio against gross NPF of 2.63 times. Meanwhile, the gearing ratio stood at 1.2 times, well below the regulator’s maximum limit of 10 times. In addition to maintaining financing quality, BFI Finance recorded revenue of Rp 3.4 trillion, an increase of 3.7 percent yoy. This performance supported the company’s profitability level with a Return on Assets (RoA) of 8.1 percent and a Return on Equity (RoE) of 15.1 percent. In the first half of 2026, BFI Finance also refreshed its management structure by appointing Djemi Suhenda and Abdul Haris Muhammad Rum as Independent Commissioners. The company also appointed Amitoaj Singh as Director of Risk Management. As a form of commitment to shareholders, BFI Finance has realised a cash dividend distribution of Rp 1.036 trillion, equivalent to 65.5 percent of the net profit for the 2025 financial year. Based on the resolutions of the Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 20 May 2026, shareholders received a dividend of Rp 70 per share. This amount consisted of an interim dividend of Rp 35 per share paid on 18 December 2025 and a final dividend of Rp 35 per share paid on 18 June 2026. Sutadi said the company will continue to maintain a balance between business growth, financing quality, and strengthening corporate governance to create long-term value. ‘We thank all consumers, business partners, regulators, shareholders, and all stakeholders for their trust. This trust motivates us to continue delivering healthy, quality, and sustainable performance,’ Sutadi said.
