Factions ordered to return cars

TANGERANG: Tangerang regency administration demanded on Monday
that four of 11 factions at the regency council return their
official cars soon.

"The factions will end their working period within a few days
but as of today only seven have returned their cars," Tangerang
Regent Ismet Iskandar said.

He said that the administration had requested in writing that
the four faction chairmen return their official cars to the
administration.

The four are the Crescent Star Party (PBB), United Development
Party (PPP), Nation Awakening Party (PKB) and the Nation Mandate
Party (PAN) factions.

PAN faction chairman Abdul Wahid said he had received the
regent's letter but the faction had yet to return the car because
it was still being used by a faction member.

PBB faction chairman Abdul Muin Basuni and the PKB faction
chairman, Samsudin, could not be reached for comment. -- JP
