JAKARTA, investortrust.id – PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) is strengthening the social pillar of its ESG strategy through a sustainable education programme. ABMM’s subsidiary, PT Prima Wiguna Parama (Parama Energi), has partnered with SOS Children’s Villages Indonesia to expand access to education up to undergraduate level for fostered children in Meulaboh, West Aceh.

The commitment is realised through the Ayo Bisa programme, which provides undergraduate scholarships (S1) to children fostered by SOS Children’s Villages. The programme is expected to support the future of beneficiaries while shaping local talent that will eventually support the needs of the industrial sector in the company’s operational areas.

Parama Energi Director Joshua Ratadhi Mulyonegoro said that investment in education for the children of Meulaboh is part of the company’s commitment to creating sustainable social impact. “Investment in education for the children of Meulaboh is part of our commitment to creating sustainable social impact. Support until they complete higher education not only benefits current recipients, but also becomes an asset they can utilise throughout their lives and contribute to the future of society,” said Joshua.

According to him, the commitment is in line with the values held by Parama Energi in running the company’s operations. “Everyone who works with Parama Energi returns home safely, earns a decent living, and through their work helps bring goodness to others, especially for communities living around Parama Energi’s operations,” he said.

As part of Parama Energi’s CSR, the Ayo Bisa programme encompasses two initiatives, namely Bisa Sekolah and Bisa Sarjana. Both help children and teenagers build goals, recognise their potential, and prepare themselves for education and the world of work. Parama Energi has also initiated Change Makers, an employee volunteering programme that involves employees as mentors, motivators, and facilitators for teenagers fostered by SOS Children’s Village from junior high to senior high school level.

The Change Makers programme operates under ABMM Group policy, which provides one working day for each employee to carry out volunteering activities every year. The activity was first launched in June 2026, discussing soft skills based on assessment results conducted on the fostered students by SOS Children’s Village.

“We want employees to contribute their time and knowledge to benefit others. Imagine when an engineer or human capital professional sits down to mentor a teenager in planning their life. That is where the company’s values truly reach the community,” said Joshua.
