In the morning of July 28, when Jl. Mangga Dua, Jakarta, was still deserted, my car had a flat tire in front of Dusit Hotel. As I replaced the left-hand tire, somebody stole my bag on the back seat, via the right-hand door.

Therefore, drivers should be sure to lock all doors if they have a similar experience and to be on the watch for thieves on the far side.

The booby traps scattered over the road by the hoodlums were so highly destructive that the tire was torn beyond repair. If anyone travels alone in the evening, they should drive to the nearest safe place to seek help.
