Beware of 'yellow disease'

YOGYAKARTA: Local United Development Party (PPP) supporters are doing everything they can to win the publicity war against Golkar.

Just before a famous Golkar leader was due to visit Imogiri recently, they displayed banners which said: "Beware of yellow disease," and "Yellow disease is not good for mothers and babies."

Indonesians call hepatitis, which often causes jaundice, penyakit kuning or "yellow disease". Yellow is Golkar's color. (38)
