Beware of Traffic Jams: Road Repairs on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll at KM 28

Bekasi - Users of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) heading towards Cikampek are advised to be more cautious. This is because PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out road maintenance work at KM 28+175.

This work has the potential to cause traffic density, especially as the repair area has now entered the stage of work on the third lane.

Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 of PT JTT, Amri Sanusi, explained that this maintenance is a routine step to maintain infrastructure quality and ensure the safety of road users.

The work on the third lane includes dismantling the road pavement up to installing a new layer. If there are no obstacles, the entire series of repairs is targeted to be completed on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.

To anticipate long traffic jams around the project location, JTT has prepared a traffic engineering scheme in the form of contraflow.

Although there is work spanning 50 metres, JTT ensures that the other lanes can still operate normally. However, drivers are asked to remain careful when passing through the area.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, added that this maintenance is very crucial considering the high mobility on the Japek Toll.

“We continue to carry out periodic maintenance so that the infrastructure condition remains reliable, thus making the journey of road users safer and more comfortable,” said Ria.
