Beware of Traffic Jams: Repairs on Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road Underway at Several Points

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, through its Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, is carrying out road repairs on the Jakarta-Tangerang toll road (Janger) at several points until 10 May 2026. This work has the potential to affect traffic flow as it is being conducted on multiple lanes alternately. The repairs involve reconstruction of the pavement as well as scrapping, filling, and overlay (SFO) works. Senior Manager of Representative Office 2, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Ginanjar Bekti Rakhmanto, stated that the work is part of routine maintenance. “We are carrying out these repairs as part of routine maintenance to maintain service quality and ensure the road remains passable amid the high traffic volume on the Jakarta-Tangerang toll road,” said Ginanjar, quoted on Friday (24/04/2026). During the work, the lane under repair will temporarily be impassable. However, other lanes will remain available for vehicle traffic. The repair work is being carried out at various points in both the Jakarta-bound and Tangerang-bound directions. For SFO work in the Jakarta-bound direction, repairs are being conducted, among others, from KM 25+900 to KM 25+800, KM 26+250 to KM 26+175, and several other points around KM 23 to KM 26. Meanwhile, in the Tangerang-bound direction, reconstruction is being done at several points such as KM 24+455 to KM 24+395, KM 23+585 to KM 23+515, and at the Kunciran 2 off-ramp exit. Jasa Marga urges road users to anticipate their journeys during the work period. Drivers are asked to be cautious, obey traffic signs, and follow the instructions of on-site officers.
