Beware of Traffic Jams: Cipularang Toll Road Under Repair for a Week Starting Today

JAKARTA – Users of the Cipularang Toll Road should prepare for potential congestion over the next week. This is because toll road repairs will commence from Sunday (3/5/2026) until Saturday (9/5/2026). The work includes reconstruction of the pavement as well as scrapping, filling, and overlay (SFO) at several points on both the Cipularang Toll Road and the Padaleunyi Toll Road. These repairs aim to maintain road quality while improving safety and comfort for users. “We have instructed our on-site teams to implement effective work arrangements so that the work areas remain safe to pass through, ensuring that even with the repairs underway, vehicle traffic heading to holiday destinations can flow optimally on the available lanes,” he said. During this period, several lanes on both toll road sections will be temporarily closed according to the work locations. For the Jakarta-bound direction, repairs will take place at the Jatiluhur off-ramp and several points around KM 82. For SFO work, the repair points are spread across KM 68 to KM 79 towards Bandung, as well as KM 96 and KM 80 towards Jakarta. Meanwhile, SFO work is also being carried out in the segment from KM 121 to KM 124 towards Cileunyi, and around KM 122 towards Padalarang. Although lanes will be closed at the work points, other lanes will remain usable, so traffic flow is expected to continue smoothly. Road users are advised to remain cautious, obey traffic signs, follow instructions from on-site officers, and plan their travel times properly.
