I wish to discuss the problem regarding the traffic police at
the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle.

Many motorists ignore the fact that when coming from the south
(Jl. Sudirman) between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., they are allowed
to drive through the circle, but cannot turn left onto Jl. Imam
Bonjol. Moreover, the traffic signs are inadequate.

I would like to appeal to the police officers in that area to
stop standing inside the prohibition zone waiting for motorists
to violate the regulation. Instead, they should post themselves
in front of the traffic sign to signal to motorists that entry is
forbidden. That would educate people to behave well and correctly
in traffic. As it is, many people fall easily into the trap.
