Beware of Coastal Flooding in Indonesia's Shores Until 28 April, Here is the List of Affected Areas

The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) has warned of the potential for coastal flooding (rob) in Indonesia’s coastal areas. This warning is valid until 28 April 2026.

Citing the Instagram account @infobmkg, the new moon phase on 17 April 2026 and perigee on 19 April 2026 are likely to increase the maximum sea level height. Based on water level monitoring data and tide predictions, coastal flooding (rob) is potential in several Indonesian coastal regions.
