Beware of BSU 2026 Scams: Don’t Click Links Without Checking
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has warned the public to be alert to scams impersonating the 2026 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU). People are urged not to click links indiscriminately or enter personal information.
According to a post on Kemnaker’s Instagram account, information about BSU 2026 payments should be checked against the ministry’s official channels. Be wary of suspicious links promising that the assistance will be paid out.
How to recognise suspicious links
A link claiming to be about BSU 2026 is not necessarily official just because it displays the Kemnaker logo. Do not trust a site simply because it looks like a government website. Be cautious of links that:
Come from unverified WhatsApp chain messages or direct messages.
Use a suspicious website address or domain.
Request personal information or make unclear promises that BSU will be paid.
Check information through official sources
For official information, follow Kemnaker’s communication channels and visit bsu.kemnaker.go.id.
Type the website address into your browser: bsu.kemnaker.go.id.
Do not open links indiscriminately from messages forwarded by others.
The Kemnaker BSU website is currently inaccessible. For BSU 2026, wait for an official announcement from the ministry.
Protect your personal data
Before clicking a link, remember these four points:
Check the website address carefully.
Do not share your one-time password (OTP), PIN or password with anyone.
Do not pay any fees in exchange for a promise that BSU will be disbursed.
If in doubt, close the link and check the information through Kemnaker’s official channels.
Fourth-quarter 2026 BSU schedule and amount
According to detikcom, BSU for the fourth quarter of 2026 is set at Rp300,000 a month for three months: October, November and December. The government plans to pay the assistance in a single instalment, meaning workers selected as recipients would receive a total of Rp900,000 for the three-month period.
The programme is intended to reach around 13.3 million workers. The government has prepared a budget of nearly Rp12 trillion for the fourth-quarter 2026 BSU.
Although the assistance period and amount have been announced, the government has not officially set a payment date. The programme’s technical rules are still being prepared, so workers should await the implementing regulations for confirmation of the disbursement schedule.
