EU officials to help RI fight against terrorism: The European Union said on Friday it would send a trio of top officials to Indonesia early next month to help fight against terrorism in the wake of the Bali nightclub bombing. The trio will be led by Carsten Staur, a state secretary from the Danish foreign ministry. Denmark currently holds the rotating presidency of the EU. "The purpose of the visit is to express the European Union's solidarity and readiness to support the government of Indonesia in the fight against terrorism," the Danish presidency said in a statement. -- AFP
