Best-Selling Electric Vehicle Prices in Early 2026, Starting from Rp199 Million
Jakarta, VIVA – Electric vehicle pricing has become one of the primary considerations for consumers choosing environmentally friendly vehicles at the start of 2026. The range of options has expanded considerably, with price points spanning from the affordable to the premium segments.
In the most affordable segment, the BYD Atto 1 has emerged as one of the most sought-after models. According to VIVA Otomotif’s research on Wednesday 18 February 2026, this electric vehicle is priced between Rp199 million and Rp235 million on-the-road in Jakarta for the Dynamic and Premium variants, making it well suited for daily urban commuting.
Another option comes from the Geely EX2, marketed at a promotional price of approximately Rp229.9 million to Rp285 million for the Pro and Max variants. These figures keep it competitive in the compact electric vehicle class.
The Jaecoo J5 has also entered the fray with a price tag of Rp249.9 million to Rp299.9 million. Additionally, the Aion UT is offered at Rp280 million to Rp318 million for the Standard and Premium variants, targeting younger consumers.
Moving into the mid-range segment, electric vehicle prices begin to exceed Rp300 million. The BYD M6, positioned as a family MPV, is sold from Rp383 million to Rp433 million with 6-seater and 7-seater configurations available.
The Wuling Darion EV serves as another alternative in the same class, priced from Rp399 million for the base model. This vehicle has attracted considerable attention as it targets the practical family car market.
In the electric SUV class, the Aion V is available at Rp445 million to Rp489 million. The Luxury variant is claimed to offer a range of approximately 600 kilometres on a single charge.
For more premium options, the BYD Sealion 7 is offered from Rp629 million to Rp719 million. This model is available in Premium and Performance variants with a more modern design.
Chery has also introduced the J6 and J6T, priced at Rp555.5 million to Rp650.5 million. Both models feature a more rugged design character, targeting consumers who wish to stand out.
At the top of the range, the Denza D9 has emerged as one of the luxury electric MPVs attracting significant attention. This electric vehicle is priced at Rp950 million and targets consumers who prioritise comfort and technology.
