Best-Selling Battery Electric Vehicles in Indonesia 2026: Atto 1, J5, and Darion EV Lead Sales
Jakarta — Battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales in Indonesia demonstrated a positive trend in February 2026, with wholesale distribution from factories to dealerships reaching 12,259 units.
According to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), this figure represents 21.8 per cent monthly growth. In January 2026, total BEV sales had reached 10,061 units.
Despite the growth, BEVs’ market share remained at approximately 15 per cent. During the same period, total national vehicle sales reached 81,159 units.
The second position was held by the Jaecoo J5 with 2,926 units sold, a significant increase compared to 1,942 units in the previous month.
The Wuling Darion EV occupied third place with 1,019 units, up from 790 units recorded in January 2026.
The Geely EX2 penetrated the market with 776 units, directly entering the top tier of national electric vehicles. This was followed by the BYD M6, which saw its sales decline from 851 units to 523 units.
