Besides Febrie Adriansyah, Don Ritto Also Named Suspect and Detained at Polda Metro
The National Police (Polri) have named a private individual, Don Ritto (DR), as a suspect in three corruption cases being investigated by the Polri Anti-Corruption Task Force (Kortas Tipikor). DR is currently detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention facility.
The head of Kortas Tipikor, Inspector General Totok Suharyanto, said there are two suspects in the case, namely Don Ritto and FA. The initials FA refer to Febrie Adriansyah, the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).
“DR has been detained since the 10th, and he is currently being held at Polda Metro Jaya,” said Inspector General Totok at a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office on Saturday (11/7/2026).
The two suspects face different charges. Don Ritto is suspected of money laundering allegedly derived from corruption offences. DR is charged under Article 4 and/or Article 5 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law 8/2010, or Article 607 paragraph 1 letters b and c of the new Criminal Code.
“We have also named Mr FA as a suspect in alleged corruption and/or money laundering in the course of legal handling by a civil servant or state official in the PT ASABRI case, and/or other corruption offences as referred to in Article 12 letter e and Article 12 letter E of the Anti-Corruption Law, and Articles 3 and 4 of the Anti-Money Laundering Law, or under the Criminal Code, Article 607 paragraph 1 letters a and b,” explained Inspector General Totok.
The case is known to have been transferred to the Attorney General’s Office. It relates to alleged corruption in coal mining, ASABRI and Krakatau Steel. Police have searched a money changer and the Cafe de’Clan Signature in the Cipete area of South Jakarta, as well as a house in Bogor, West Java.
“This afternoon we will formally receive the handover of three cases, as a form of our commitment to accelerate professionalism and synergy,” said Acting Jampidsus Rudi Margono at a press conference at the Attorney General’s Office building on Saturday (11/7).
According to him, the public is paying close attention to the resolution of these cases. Therefore, expediting their handling is one of the main focuses.
“Because in fact the public is waiting for the resolution of these cases, as conveyed by the Chair of Commission III,” he said.
“What matters in this synergy is speed. First, to develop and maximise the evidence. Then the items of evidence, and most importantly, synergy,” he continued.
