Bengkulu Ministry of Law Reaffirms Commitment to Integrity-Driven Services Based on Pancasila Values
The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law in Bengkulu has reaffirmed its commitment to realising professional, high-integrity, and public-oriented legal services as an implementation of the spirit and values of Pancasila.
“The spirit of unity, mutual cooperation, and social justice is expected to be the foundation in achieving professional, high-integrity, and public-interest-oriented legal services,” stated the Head of the Bengkulu Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, Zulhairi, in Bengkulu on Tuesday.
During the commemoration of Pancasila Day 2026, Zulhairi stated that the Bengkulu Regional Office is dedicated to continuously implementing Pancasila values in the execution of duties and services to the community.
Zulhairi served as the Ceremony Inspector, while the Head of the General Legal Administrative Services Division, Pande Made Handika Riady, served as the Ceremony Officer. The event was attended by all employees of the Bengkulu Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, alongside officials from the Bengkulu Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration.
In his address, Zulhairi conveyed a message from the Head of the Agency for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (BPIP), noting that Pancasila Day is not merely an annual commemoration but a moment for reflection to ensure that Pancasila values remain alive and serve as a guide for national and state life.
The theme for this year’s commemoration also emphasised that Pancasila serves not only as a binder for Indonesia’s diversity but also as a foundation for achieving world peace. Indonesia holds a constitutional responsibility to contribute to global order based on independence, lasting peace, and social justice. The values of deliberation, humanity, and unity contained within Pancasila are vital assets for Indonesia’s contribution to maintaining international peace.
Furthermore, the BPIP Head’s mandate called upon all elements of the nation, particularly the younger generation, to adopt Pancasila as a living ideology in daily actions, rather than just a symbol or something to be memorised. The government and all state administrators were also reminded that every policy enacted must be rooted in the value of social justice and guarantee the rights of all citizens without exception.
