Bengkulu Law Ministry Hands Over Registration Certificate to People's Movement Party

The Bengkulu Regional Office of the Ministry of Law has handed over a Registration Certificate (SKT) to the People’s Movement Party of Bengkulu Province after all party management documents were declared to have met the administrative requirements in accordance with applicable regulations. “We congratulate the People’s Movement Party of Bengkulu Province on the issuance of the Registration Certificate. The Bengkulu Law Ministry Regional Office is committed to providing professional, transparent services in line with prevailing regulations,” said Head of the Bengkulu Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, Zulhairi, in Bengkulu on Friday. The SKT was handed over by Zulhairi to the Chairman of the People’s Movement Party of Bengkulu Province, Soheri Ersuan, at the Bengkulu Regional Office of the Ministry of Law. The event was also attended by the Head of the General Legal Administration Services Division, Pande Made H.R., along with the working team of the General Legal Administration Services Division. The issuance and handover of the SKT is a follow-up to the verification process carried out by the Bengkulu Law Ministry Regional Office on the required documents submitted by the People’s Movement Party. Verification was conducted thoroughly on the completeness and conformity of the political party’s management documents from the provincial, district, and city levels down to the sub-district level. Based on the verification results, all submitted documents were declared to have fulfilled the requirements as stipulated in Law Number 2 of 2008 concerning Political Parties and Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 34 of 2017 regarding procedures for registering the establishment of legal entities, amendments to articles of association and bylaws, and changes to political party management. In addition to referring to these regulations, the SKT issuance process also adhered to the Implementation/Technical Guidelines on Procedures for Granting Registration Certificates Number AHU-AH.11-81 dated 21 November 2025, ensuring all stages were carried out in accordance with applicable provisions. Zulhairi explained that the issuance of the SKT is part of the general legal administration services provided to political parties to ensure administrative requirements are met according to laws and regulations. He stated that if all requirements have been fulfilled in line with regulations, the SKT can be issued as a form of professional and transparent service to the public and stakeholders. With the issuance of the SKT, the People’s Movement Party of Bengkulu Province is expected to proceed with the next administrative processes in accordance with the applicable mechanisms. The Bengkulu Law Ministry Regional Office will also submit a report in the form of a copy of the SKT along with the verification sheet for the regional political party management to the Directorate of State Administration, Directorate General of General Legal Administration, for further administrative and documentation purposes. The Bengkulu Law Ministry Regional Office affirmed its commitment to continuously provide professional, accountable, and transparent general legal administration services, including to political parties as one of the pillars of democracy in Indonesia.
