PEKANBARU, Riau: Residents of Senggoro village in Bengkalis regency have said that they have been gripped by fear as a strange "visitor" often comes out and greets them at night.

Asnah, a local resident confirmed the rumor on Monday, saying that residents of the village were scared to death when they met it at night.

"What's strange about it is that when it greets you and you respond to it, it will steal all your belongings without your knowing, But if you don't acknowledge it, it will run away, screaming, banging the walls around the house and laughing.

People who claimed to have seen the visitor described it as having long hair, ugly, carrying a sword and walking above the ground.
