Bengkalis Regent and Riau Regional Leaders Meet Investment Minister to Accelerate Development
JAKARTA (RA) – Bengkalis Regent Kasmarni, together with Riau Governor Abdul Wahid and all regional heads across Riau Province, held an audience with Investment Minister and BKPM Head Rosan Perkasa Roeslani at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM office in Jakarta on Monday (5/5/2025).
The meeting aimed to strengthen central-regional government relations in accelerating development, investment, and the downstreaming of natural resource potential across each region, including Bengkalis Regency.
During the meeting, the Riau Governor proposed the construction of a logistics railway line as a solution to road damage caused by mining trucks, as well as an effort to improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
