Benefits and Virtues of Ghusl, Including Intention Recitation

Ghusl, the obligatory ritual bath, is performed by Muslims to remove major ritual impurity, restoring purity and enabling acts of worship such as prayer, Quran recitation, and other religious duties.

Translation

“I intend to perform the ritual bath to remove major ritual impurity as an obligation for Allah the Almighty.”

Ghusl is the Islamic method of purification to remove major ritual impurity and resume worship. Beyond its religious significance, it also benefits physical cleanliness and health.
