Bendera Pusaka Park Officially Opened With Premium Free Padel Court
JAKARTA — Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially inaugurated Bendera Pusaka Park in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta on Saturday, 14 March 2026. The park inauguration was also attended by Indonesia’s fifth President, Megawati Soekarnoputri.
Bendera Pusaka Park resulted from the integration of three parks in the Blok M area: Ayodya Park, Langsat Park, and Leuser Park. This green space covers approximately 5.6 hectares.
The three parks are now interconnected through a bridge featuring red and white motifs that serves as the area’s iconic landmark, as well as tunnels that allow visitors to move conveniently between different park sections.
“Alhamdulillah, Bendera Pusaka Park can be utilised by the community immediately,” Pramono said in his remarks.
Like other parks in Jakarta, Bendera Pusaka Park will operate 24 hours daily. The government has equipped the area with surveillance cameras and security personnel who will conduct regular patrols.
Pramono stated that the padel court can be used by the public free of charge. “Perhaps this is the most premium padel court that is free,” he said.
However, visitors must still register beforehand to use the facility, given the high public interest in padel sports. “I intentionally provided one free padel court, but registration is required,” Pramono explained.
In addition to the padel court, the park is equipped with a multifunctional court that can accommodate various sports such as basketball, tennis, and badminton. For visitors who wish to exercise without specialised equipment, a 1.2-kilometre jogging track is available for free public access.
“This provides Jakarta residents with practical options and many choices for their preferred sports,” he added.
