Belgium offers soft loans

MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: Belgium Ambassador to Indonesia
Hans-Christian Kint has offered six million euro (Rp 66 billion)
in soft loans to the West Nusa Tenggara provincial administration
to tackle power shortages in the province.

Belgium has long cooperated with its Indonesian partners in
the power sector and currently plans to build cooperation with
authorities in the province, Nanang Samodra, the secretary to the
provincial administration, quoted the Ambassador as saying after
a meeting here on Wednesday.

"If the offer is approved by the central government, then we
will proceed with a power project to solve the power shortage in
