The Bekasi Regency Government, West Java, officially sent off 542 Hajj pilgrims belonging to the final flight group (kloter) at the Swatantra Wibawa Mukti building, within the Bekasi Regency Government office complex, on Monday.

The Regional Secretary of Bekasi Regency, Endin Samsudin, stated that this final group of the Jakarta-Bekasi embarkation consists of 440 pilgrims from Flight Group 37, alongside 102 individuals from Flight Group 38, which is a combined group with other regions.

“Alhamdulillah, this is the final departure of our Hajj pilgrims, meaning everyone has been sent off; now we only need to pray that everyone remains healthy and returns to the homeland with the status of mabrur (blessed),” he said.

He emphasised the role of Hajj officers in providing intensive assistance to ensure that all pilgrims from Bekasi Regency receive optimal service while performing their rituals in the Holy Land.

Endin specifically instructed Hajj officers to conduct thorough monitoring of the pilgrims, maintain coordination, and ensure that no pilgrims are left behind during the entire series of religious rites.

“I entrust the officers to monitor the pilgrims well, ensuring they are organised and coordinated. With 440 people departing in Group 37 and 102 in Group 38, the same number must return,” he added.

The Regional Secretary also urged the pilgrims to maintain their health, look after their belongings, and strictly follow the instructions of the officers to ensure the smooth execution of their pilgrimage, despite facing weather and environmental conditions different from those in their homeland.

“The most important thing is that the pilgrims can perform their worship with devotion, remain healthy and safe, and complete the entire Hajj series until they return to Bekasi Regency,” he concluded.
