Bekasi Preneur Camp 2026 Aims to Upgrade MSMEs
The Nuswantara MSME Forum held the Bekasi Preneur Camp on 11-12 July 2026, aiming to upgrade micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through capacity building, entrepreneurship, and pentahelix cross-sector collaboration.
Hilman Fazri Rukmana, a representative of the Nuswantara MSME Forum organisers, stated that the initiative seeks to elevate MSMEs through cross-sector collaboration. He noted that the forum engaged the government, academics, the business sector, communities, and the mass media to strengthen MSME capacity.
“Cross-sector collaboration to strengthen MSMEs is at the heart of this event,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (16/7/2026).
He added that 300 participants from the Greater Jakarta area and West Java attended the event. They included MSME actors, communities, youth organisations, and all parties capable of supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Hilman expressed hope that the presence of the Nuswantara MSME Forum down to the village level would foster a strong collaborative network among business actors, the government, communities, and various other stakeholders.
Several policymakers also attended, including representatives from the Bekasi Regency Culture, Youth, and Sports Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Directorate General, and the Ministry of Trade’s Export Directorate General.
Miftah, a representative from the Ministry of Trade’s Export Directorate General, voiced support for MSME development to enable them to upgrade and broaden their market access.
“MSMEs must expand their market access,” he stated.
Participants received capacity-building materials from experienced speakers in their respective fields.
