Bekasi LPG Bulk Filling Station Fire Incident, Supply Assured to Remain Unaffected
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Stasiun Pengisian Bulk Elpiji (SPBE) in Cimuning, Mustika Jaya, Bekasi, experienced a fire incident on the evening of Wednesday (1/4/2026). This SPBE is owned and operated by the private entity, PT Indogas Andalan Kita. In fact, Indogas is one of the partners of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. Regarding this incident, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has issued a statement. Susanto August Satria, Area Manager for Communications, Relations & CSR at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java, confirmed the occurrence of the incident. The company apologised for what happened. “Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (RJBB) apologises for the incident at the Stasiun Pengisian Bulk Elpiji (SPBE) of PT Indogas Andalan Kita on Wednesday, 1 April 2026,” he stated, quoted on Thursday (2/4/2026). He said that Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional RJBB and the SPBE side immediately acted swiftly and coordinated with the local Fire Department team. “The cause of the incident will be investigated promptly together with the relevant authorities,” he said. “At this time, we are focusing on handling the fire, the safety of the surrounding community, and the SPBE workers,” he added. Regarding the event, Pertamina itself assured that the LPG supply to the public is safe and unaffected. “Pertamina Patra Niaga RJBB assures that the LPG supply to the public is not disrupted,” he emphasised. He also advised the public to pay attention to their safety and not to approach the incident location.
