Bekasi Immigration Prepares Hajj Services at the Dormitory
The Bekasi Immigration Office has stated its readiness to serve the departure of Hajj pilgrims for 2026 at the Bekasi Hajj Dormitory. A total of 12,178 prospective pilgrims will undergo immigration checks during the embarkation process.
The Head of the Bekasi Immigration Office, Anggi Wicaksono, said that reinforcement training has been provided to officers prior to implementation. The embarkation process is scheduled to begin on Tuesday (21/4/2026) with a total of 28 flight groups.
“Our team will conduct checks every day at the Hajj dormitory to match passports with pilgrims and apply departure stamps. This scheme ensures that pilgrims can depart comfortably,” said Anggi on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
Anggi explained that the checks are carried out directly at the Bekasi Hajj Dormitory so that the process at the airport is more concise. After the administration is completed, pilgrims can proceed directly to Soekarno-Hatta Airport for the departure process.
He emphasised the importance of friendly and professional service during the inspection process. According to him, Hajj services are part of devotion to the community.
“Officers are obliged to prioritise friendliness and politeness in every inspection process,” he stated.
The Bekasi Immigration ensures that all services run quickly and humanely to support the smooth pilgrimage of the pilgrims. This preparation is expected to maintain the comfort and smoothness of the departure process to the Holy Land.
