Bekasi Immigration Office's Mobile Service Exhausts 130 Passport Quota in Under 24 Hours
The Class I Non TPI Bekasi Immigration Office conducted a mobile passport service in Cikarang, completing 130 passports in under 24 hours. The initiative, part of the ‘Beken Jempol Cikarang’ (Mobile Passport Service in Cikarang) programme, took place on Saturday (13/6/2026) at Maxxboxx Orange County, Lippo Cikarang. The activity aims to bring immigration services closer to the public and improve access.
The mobile service was a collaboration between the Bekasi Immigration Office and the Lippo Cikarang area management. This synergy was established to provide comfortable, strategic, and easily accessible public service facilities for residents of Bekasi Regency and its surroundings.
High public demand for passport services was evident from the overwhelming enthusiasm of applicants. The quota of 130 passport applications provided through the m-Paspor application was reportedly exhausted in less than 24 hours after registration opened.
‘The Beken Jempol Cikarang programme is a tangible manifestation of the Bekasi Immigration Office’s commitment to providing proactive, excellent service. We greatly appreciate the public’s enthusiasm and the full support of the Lippo Cikarang area management, who facilitated the venue so this service could be carried out very well,’ said Head of the Bekasi Immigration Office, Anggi Wicaksono.
Meanwhile, Head of the Travel Document Service and Verification Section (Kasi Yanverdokjal) of the Bekasi Immigration Office, Bhimsa Sanlito, who oversaw the activity, confirmed that the entire service process ran smoothly, orderly, and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). ‘The representative facilities at Maxxboxx Orange County, combined with the readiness of field officers, allowed the biometric recording, photography, and interview processes for all passport applicants today to be completed effectively and efficiently,’ explained Bhimsa Sanlito.
Responding to the high interest from members of the public who did not secure a slot in this round, the Bekasi Immigration Office has prepared strategic follow-up measures. The Bekasi Immigration Office is committed to increasing the applicant quota and scheduling the Beken Jempol Cikarang programme regularly. This step is expected to provide easier passport processing for more people on an ongoing basis. The public is also advised to continue monitoring the latest information regarding mobile service schedules and other immigration information through the official social media accounts of the Class I Non TPI Bekasi Immigration Office.
