Bekasi Husband Rammed Wife's Mugger from Behind; Suspect Falls

An attempted mugging of a woman occurred in the Taman Galaxy area of Bekasi Selatan District, Bekasi City, West Java. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday (3 March) at around 03:00 local time, involved three men, one of whom was armed with a celurit, a curved-blade weapon. The victim was riding a motorcycle in tandem with her husband, each on their own motorcycle.

The husband, who was following behind, rammed the motorcycle he was riding into the direction of the attackers, striking one of them. After being hit, one attacker collapsed and could not move, while the other two fled. Police are still searching for the two remaining perpetrators. The suspect who was captured has been handed over to the police, and the case is currently under investigation.

Video of the arrest circulated on social media, showing the attacker immobilised after being rammed by the husband. The footage also depicts the suspect being subjected to mob beating and dragged by bystanders.
