Behind the 'King of Thugs' Moniker: Hercules' Four Children Educated in the US and UK
The name Rozario Marshal, better known as Hercules, has returned to the public spotlight after he was entrusted with a new role as a member of the Honourary Council of the National Indonesian Workers’ Union (SBNI). The inauguration took place during the SBNI’s second congress on 12 July 2026, further solidifying his position in various organisations. Amid the focus on his career and activities, Hercules’ private life has also drawn public interest. The figure who once served as Chairman of GRIB Jaya and was formerly dubbed the ‘King of Thugs of Tanah Abang’ turns out to have four children with impressive educational backgrounds. All of Hercules’ children have pursued higher education abroad. Their choice of universities in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom reflects the family’s strong emphasis on education. Public attention towards Hercules’ family increased following his birthday celebration on 1 June 2025. During the event, he invited extended family, relatives, and colleagues. At the tumpeng-cutting session, Hercules expressed gratitude for his household journey with his wife, Nia Dania, which has lasted more than three decades. ‘I am accompanied by my wife, Mrs Nia. We have been married for 31 years. Alhamdulillah, praise God, to this day we remain faithful,’ Hercules stated, as quoted from a YouTube broadcast on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. In front of the guests, he also introduced his four children. ‘We have four children, two girls and two boys, girl, boy, boy, girl,’ Hercules added. Hercules expressed happiness that all his children could gather for the moment, as they usually reside abroad for their studies or other activities. He then explained that his two daughters had recently returned from overseas. ‘Coincidentally, the two girls, the older one has just returned from Australia, the younger one has just arrived from Melbourne,’ Hercules said. His statement was immediately corrected by his wife. ‘From London,’ Nia Dania corrected. Long before the birthday celebration, Hercules had previously discussed his children’s educational journeys during a YouTube interview in 2022.
