Beef Prices Rise Ahead of Ramadan: Full List of Commodity Price Updates

Jakarta, VIVA – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has reported that premium rice is priced at Rp 15,412 per kilogramme, a decline of Rp 243 per kg, whilst medium-grade rice stands at Rp 13,251 per kg, down Rp 139 per kg.

Meanwhile, government-subsidised rice (SPHP) is recorded at Rp 12,413 per kg, down Rp 31 per kg, and local specialty rice is at Rp 15,984 per kg, an increase of Rp 221 from the previous day.

Maize prices at the farmer level are recorded at Rp 6,644 per kg, down Rp 320 from the previous day, whilst imported dried soybeans are at Rp 10,812 per kg, a decline of Rp 117.

Shallot prices stand at Rp 40,158 per kg, down Rp 1,944, and garlic bulbs are priced at Rp 37,991 per kg, a decrease of Rp 1,283 from the previous day.

Curly red chilli is priced at Rp 44,931 per kg, down Rp 956; large red chilli at Rp 39,933 per kg, down Rp 2,416; and red bird’s eye chilli at Rp 74,874 per kg, down Rp 899 from the previous day.

Pure beef is priced at Rp 140,932 per kg, an increase of Rp 1,361; broiler chicken at Rp 40,756 per kg, down Rp 739; and broiler eggs at Rp 30,603 per kg, down Rp 649 from the previous day.

Consumption sugar is priced at Rp 18,067 per kg, down Rp 222, and consumption salt at Rp 11,487 per kg, down Rp 145 from the previous day.

Packaged cooking oil is at Rp 20,980 per litre, down Rp 261; bulk cooking oil at Rp 17,602 per litre, down Rp 125; and Minyakita branded oil at Rp 16,854 per litre, down Rp 328 from the previous day.

Bulk wheat flour is priced at Rp 9,557 per kg, down Rp 223, and packaged wheat flour at Rp 12,741 per kg, down Rp 330 from the previous day.

Indian mackerel is priced at Rp 46,706 per kg, up Rp 1,009 from the previous day; skipjack tuna at Rp 37,522 per kg, down Rp 88; and milkfish at Rp 37,217 per kg, up Rp 19 from the previous day.
