Beauty and harmony

A great people are a people that will always honor the merits
of their heroes. Let's ask ourselves where the beauty of this
saying lies. A people will not be great if they are devoid of
harmony -- this is indeed the yardstick of a great people.

Irrespective of greatness, all of us should again realize the
significance and the beauty of harmony, which is the prerequisite
for the creation of national unity and integrity. Bees can build
their strong societies that will produce honey for their whole
community because they have harmony, sovereignty of their
community members, democracy, basic rights, transparency, a sense
of belonging and an awareness of the need to conserve all these
elements.

The society we long to have is not one underlined by the
monotony of a bee society, but one characterized by activities
and dynamism, without, of course, abandoning the basic elements
of bee society. The process of national modification now going on
must not discard our nation's lofty values, which constitute the
characteristics of our society, nation and state. It is likely
that an act of pardon may bolster the creation of harmony toward
a conducive condition.

May God the Almighty always bestow on us His blessings and
protection.
