Be ware of domestic servants

The police foiled a theft ring involving domestic servants on
Saturday. The syndicate's leaders, consisting of dozens of
people, were nabbed while hiding in their lair, but unfortunately
the chief of the operation, known only as Gegep, escaped.

The investigation revealed that the house maids and drivers
had been "sworn in" by the syndicate and vowed to surrender
everything they stole (from their employers) to the syndicate
which is alleged to have links with the group Indonesian Islamic
State (NII), which is banned.

The most surprising thing is that none of the domestic
servants felt guilty for his or her conduct (stealing).

We just hope that the police can uproot this criminal
organization and arrest the perpetrators or the number one person
behind the crime.

Domestic crime, such as theft by this corrupt group, is as
serious as any other crime, therefore, we see no reason for the
police to be reluctant to deal with it.

The people, especially the victims, must help the police by
providing adequate information about what they have experienced.
